In order to meet this commitment, it is required that our patients use ClarityMD.org an online clinical support site that will provide you with the very important information regarding your surgical procedure. You will have complete confidential access to ClarityMD.org 7 days a week, 24 hours per day via the internet. And of course you will always be able to contact our offices during regular business hours.

ClarityMD.org has been developed to ensure that you and your family have a thorough understanding about your surgical procedure. You will be able to review the following information in the privacy and comfort of your home.

The health risks associated with obesity.
Your digestive system.
What you should do before surgery.
The surgical procedure.
All post operative instructions.
The risks and rewards of the surgical procedure.
Alternatives that you may discuss with your physician.

Each of the above section is designed to answer any questions you may have relating to your surgery. At the end of every section, you will be prompted to enter in a verification code that will be given to you by the online program confirming that you have viewed the specific section. At that point you may ask any question(s) that you and your family may have regarding the surgical procedure. All of your questions will be treated as confidential and will be answered by your physician or your nurse prior to surgery.

You will receive step-by-step instructions once you log onto ClarityMD.org. It is required that all patients of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeons use ClarityMD. You must review and verify all sections prior to your preoperative office visit to assure all your questions regarding your surgery are answered.

ClarityMD.org contains hundreds of questions asked by previous patients over the years. Please review their questions and the answers provided by the physicians, as you will find them very helpful.

The first time you login to ClarityMD.org it is very important that you watch the “About Us” section so that you will have a thorough understanding of what to expect. In the event that you do not have access to a computer, please contact our office and we will schedule a time for you to use one of our computers in a private setting.

To begin, FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

Step 1: Go to www.ClarityMD.org

Step 2: As a new user, you will need to register for ClarityMD.org to receive your username and password. Click the icon that says “Click here to register for ClarityMD.org”

Step 3: ClarityMD.org has a one-time user fee of $24.99, accepting Visa, M/C, Discover, and A/X. Click on the “Purchase Now” icon and follow the payment instructions on the screen. NOTE: you will be asked to “Supply Your Office Code.” YOUR 4 DIGIT OFFICE CODE IS “9700”

Step 4: You will receive confirmation containing your username and password and order confirmation number once you click the “Place Order” icon. You will then receive email confirmation containing your username, password, receipt of transaction and Order ID number. KEEP THIS FOR YOUR RECORDS!

You can begin using ClarityMD.org immediately following your registration. Once you register for ClarityMD.org and obtain your username and password, you will have continued access to the site.
